What is a metalabel?
A metalabel is a release club where groups who share the same interest can collaboratively release and support each other’s projects.
We call this creativity in multiplayer mode.
Examples of metalabels include indie record labels, the Whole Earth Catalog, A24, MSCHF, and growing numbers of internet-first squads creating and sharing work together.
WHAT IS ASSEMBLY?
ASSEMBLY brings members of creative collectives past, current, and future together twice weekly during the month of July to deep dive into the complexities of collaborative creative work across several disciplines.
What happens AT ASSEMBLY?
With a small group of select peers, participants will hear from and dialogue with guest speakers on the forefront of collaborative creative practices; share resources and experience; and connect with one another.
